A bit about me……..

Originally I trained as a textile designer in the '80s and spent several years working as a knitwear designer in West Yorkshire. By the late '90s the textile industry was in serious decline, so in 1998, I gave up my textile career to spend more time at home with my children.

My passion for drawing and painting began in 2002 when I started attending regular art classes. These classes inspired me to experiment with a variety of media and painting techniques, particularly watercolour. I love the way the colours blend and the unpredictable effects achieved with watercolour painting. I am a member of Menston Arts Club and I have been their Exhibition Secretary since 2012. In addition I help with the organisation and running of the Chevin Watercolour Group which was formed in 2018.

New artwork is being added all the time so please keep revisiting this website. Details regarding my greeting card designs, art exhibitions, and other information are updated on a regular basis.

Please see my Latest News page........
